Notable Cases

R v I – Asma secured the acquittal of a vulnerable defendant accused of imprisoning a female in her vehicle

R v P – Asma secured the acquittal of a defendant accused of burglary at his partner’s home address.

R v J – This case concerned a defendant charged with dangerous driving.  Result was a hung jury in this case.

R v K and others – Asma was able to persuade the Judge there was no case to answer after half time submissions were made on this case which involved kidnap and being in possession of proceeds of crime.
